BIO
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Holland, his international experiences at an early age shaped his inspiration and love for culture, art and design. Starting at Holland’s Artez design school in 1994, Hing took what he learned and moved to Belgium when he was noticed by celebrated fashion designer Walter Van Beirendonck – an appointment that launched his career. Shortly after, he worked with Daniel Poole in London where he apprenticed alongside progressive minds in design, and after a few years settled in Nuremberg, Germany working for adidas. Hing continued his sampling of international design with a relocation to the United States, winning a variety of design projects with brands such as Reebok, Puma, Vision Street Wear and Airwalk. These works led to the foundation of his own design studio in 2004 – Hong Kong Stunt Team. After serving five years as creative director at Piloti shoes, he now resides between Biarritz, France and southern California, where his designs continue to reflect his eclectic, globe-trotting journey filling a portfolio with projects for General Motors, VW, 24h Le Mans, Pagani, Hot Wheels, Lego, James Hunt and many, many more.
